A leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Tein Jack-Rich yesterday called for stronger engagement between Nigeria, Africa and the United States, saying deeper ties with American policymakers and investors are critical to unlocking the continent’s vast economic potential. He made the call after receiving an award at the Celebrate America 250 event in Washington DC.

Security operatives have rescued four persons abducted during an attack in a school, the Kogi State Government has said. The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, disclosed this in a statement yesterday, describing the rescue as the outcome of a coordinated security operation ordered by Governor Usman Ododo immediately after the incident.
