“My mom has always been my primary role model,” Allie Hanlon, the founder and front woman of LA-based punk outfit Peach Kelli Pop, says. “I’m influenced by her strength and utilitarianism but also have a natural inclination to extreme femininity.” Since their incarnation in 2009, Peach Kelli Pop has become a cult favorite, fueled by femininity and rainbow-colored daydreams lined in badassery and 80s and 90s post-punk. And this vibe isn’t just present in their music, but in their style as well.
