Peter Eric Arnell is Chief Brand Architect of the United States of America, as well as a Designer, Brand Executive, Author, Photographer, Entrepreneur, Founder, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of PETERARNELL, and Founder and Chairman of Arnell Intelligence AI Brands (AIM), an advanced artificial intelligence platform focused on next-generation brand creation, innovation, and enterprise transformation.

For more than 45 years, Arnell has transformed brands, products, corporations, institutions, and communities for companies including Chrysler, Pepsi-Cola Co., Reebok, Donna Karan, Samsung, and Unilever.

In 2026, the White House announced Arnell as Chief Brand Architect of the United States of America, a founding role within the National Design Studio in Washington, D.C., working alongside Joe Gebbia to help advance Executive Order 14338, “Improving Our Nation Through Better Design.” Through the National Design Studio, Arnell is leading the strategic and creative development of a unified national design and brand system focused on identity, communications, services, and citizen experience.

Arnell founded Arnell Group in New York City in 1979, evolving the company into a globally recognized design, branding, and innovation firm before its acquisition by Omnicom Group. His interdisciplinary approach combines graphic arts, communications, photography, filmmaking, industrial design, architecture, and product innovation to create enduring brand value. Arnell created groundbreaking work for Donna Karan New York and DKNY, contributed to Samsung’s transformation into a global consumer brand, and led innovation initiatives for Chrysler, BlackBerry, and Fontainebleau Development. He is the author of Shift, a New York Times bestseller, and multiple monographs published by Hatje Cantz.

His honors include the CFDA Award of Excellence in Branding and Communications, IDEA Awards, the Cannes Gold Lion, and the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
