„Bub!
Methodological considerations for evaluating policy impacts on transgender and non-binary youth suicidality
arising from W. Y. Lee et al. Nature Human Behaviour https://doi.org/10.1038/s41562-024-01979-5 (2024) Lee et al.1 investigated the impact of laws characterized by the American Civil Liberties Union as anti-transgender2, applying difference-in-differences (DD) analysis to states that enacted such laws (‘treatment’ states) and states that did not (‘control’ states). The article concludes that enacting such laws increased suicide attempts by transgender and non-binary youth in the treatment states.
Canada's Paediatric Gender Medicine Must Follow Evidence
Health Care While other jurisdictions adopt balanced, evidence-based protocols for treating gender dysphoria, the CPS has doubled down on an obsolete policy instructing doctors to reflexively ‘affirm’ trans-identified youth. Chan Kulatunga Moruzi, Peter Sim, Ian Mitchell, Darrell Palmer, Ari R.
Reevaluating Gender Policy for Minors
On Tuesday, the Supreme Court ruled that the Trump administration can enforce Executive Order 14183, which prohibits the trans-identified from serving in the U.S. military. Prior to Tuesday, the military ban was blocked from going into effect after Federal District Judge Benjamin H. Settle issued a nationwide injunction in March, which was later upheld by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Gender-based care for children should be based on science, not partisan whims
There is a deep partisan divide on pediatric gender medicine in the U.S. Republican-controlled states are banning the use of puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgery on minors with gender dysphoria. Democrat-controlled states are declaring themselves sanctuaries and protect access to these same treatments. The Democrats face two problems. One is that their position is not politically popular.

Getting Replace ITB even after replacement (Hp 5225)
02-25-2021 09:55 PM Because I started getting "Turn Off - Replace ITB" messages on my 15 year old HP 5225, I bought a refurbished ITB unit and re-installed it. The first time I started it, I got the "Turn Off - Replace ITB", but after that didn't get it for about 5 uses. However, now it happens every time I turn it on. I have removed and replaced the unit twice to no avail.
Gemeindeaufsicht in Niederösterreich: Hohe Schulden, gute Freunde
