Gender, performance, and prize money: a study of pay discrimination against female teams in eSports
Abstract This study investigates gender‑based disparities in viewership and prize money within Counter‑Strike: Global Offensive competitions, using data from the ESL Impact League (female‑only) and comparable male leagues. Because esports performance depends chiefly on strategic choices and fine motor skills rather than physical strength, this setting offers a distinctive lens for examining gender equity where bodily differences are minimized.

Status-quo vs new strategy in intangibles
This study explores company strategies for intangibles. We investigate whether it is reasonable for companies to intensify intangibles when the current strategy is not intangible-intensive. This paper aims to elaborate a theoretical model to describe the strategic decision-making in companies. We use the Bellman equation framework to find the conditions under which a change in strategy for intangibles is reasonable.
