5. Conclusions In this paper, an experiment using artificial lighting of a PV panel was designed to study the effect of highly non-uniform irradiance and temperature distribution on the surface of a PV panel. Artificial lighting was used to generate various irradiance and temperature profiles and the DC output was measured at various loading conditions to obtain the corresponding I-V and P-V curves.
