On the evening of May 18, the Dong Nai City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee  organized the Ceremony to announce the National Assembly (NA)'s Resolution on the establishment of Dong Nai City. The ceremony was attended by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, President the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam.

On January 26, according to the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment issued a decision approving the appraisal result of the environmental impact assessment report for the Long Duc 3 Industrial Park Infrastructure Business and Construction Investment Project, Dong Nai province.

To achieve the target of 10% GRDP growth in 2025, Dong Nai province must achieve a minimum growth rate of 12.8% in quarter 4-2025 alone. Based on the minimum growth rate that needs to be achieved, the Provincial People's Committee has developed a growth scenario for the last 3 months of 2025. Dong Xoai III Industrial Park (Binh Phuoc ward) is an attractive destination for investors.
