‘The Art of Star Wars: The Mandalorian – Season Two’ (review)
Written by Phil Szostak Foreword by Doug Chiang Published by Abrams Books There’s nothing more nostalgic than perusing an “Art of” Star Wars book. Every image ignites the very same childhood imagination first set aflame by Ralph McQuarrie’s original concept art all those years ago.
Star Wars: Review: The Art of Star Wars: The Mandalorian (Season Two)
By Phil Szostak Abrams Books, out now A detailed look at the design process behind The Mandalorian’s second season. Phil Szostak’s weighty, coffee table book excels on two levels – it’s jam-packed with gorgeous illustrations and contains detailed narrative on how and why decisions are made. It doesn’t just look good, it explains the supporting processes.
The Mandalorian (Season Two) : Szostak, Phil, Chiang, Doug: Amazon.com.mx: Juguetes y Juegos
I am a big fan of the Mandalorian and I really liked the first concept art book that was produced for season 1. I also enjoyed season 2 of the show but I feel like this book is a bit of a let down. There are an overwhelming amount of images with thick lines (as can be seen in the image). There’s also little vibrance in those images and they look very rough and maybe that style appeals to people but to me it just looks tacky and bland.
The Art of Star Wars: The Mandalorian (Season Two)
This official behind-the-scenes companion to season two of the hit Disney+ series The Mandalorian features exclusive concept art by the Lucasfilm art department and original interviews with the artists, writers, and filmmakers The Art of Star Wars: The Mandalorian (Season Two) takes fans behind the scenes of the second season of the Emmy Award–winning Disney+ live-action Star Wars television series.
The Rise of Skywalker : Szostak, Phil: Amazon.com.mx: Libros
Following the same format as Szostakâs âThe Art Of The Force Awakensâ and âLast Jediâ, this takes âThe Rise Of Skywalkerâ from initial concept art (along with spoiler images from âThe Last Jediâ) right through to the end of production. Lucasfilm and Abrams have this kind of thing down perfected now and the book is beautifully designed, the artwork perfectly reproduced.

‘The Art of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ (review)
Written by Phil Szostak Foreword by Doug Chiang Published by Abrams Books It’s impossible to be a Star Wars fan and not love The Art of Star Wars series. They expand that fantastical universe we all fell in love with and the images stir the same imagination as the films, sucking you into the adventures in an exciting new way. The Rise of Skywalker edition seamlessly continues that tradition and reminds us that the design of Star Wars is a language in and of itself with rules and a resonant voice.
