Vyšetřování tragédie nikdy nedospěje k přesvědčivému závěru a případ dále komplikuje řada nejasností kolem jednotlivých aktérů včetně samotného vypravěče, bývalého policisty, jehož svědomí tíží vlastní nepřiznané provinění.
Vnučka pana Linha
Pan Linh opouští svoji vlast, zmítanou válečným konfliktem, a s hrstkou osobních věcí a malou vnučkou v náručí se vydává do Evropy, aby dívence, jež přišla o oba rodiče, nalezl nový domov a novou budoucnost.

History and ‘the people’
The stories in German Fantasia were written between 2016 and 2020. Although the times and the conditions under which each of these texts was written were different, they turn on themes and ideas that have been important to me for a long time: first and foremost that of the incoherence of history and the roles men play in it, or rather think they play in it.

Carl De Keyzer • Higher Ground • Magnum Photos
Carl De Keyzer Europe. 2014. © Carl De Keyzer | Magnum Photos Borrowing its name from an American Christian sect he came across when travelling in the states, referring to people being invited into the mountains to survive the end of the world after a flood, Carl De Keyzer’s Higher Ground is a fictional imagining of a possible future of sea-level rises. It is the second instalment of a two-book project on climate change with nature becoming a potential danger.
