ABSTRACT This study examines public library (PL) employees’ perceptions of artificial intelligence (AI) and their amenability of using AI to improve diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) in PL collection development. Drawing on an online survey of 396 PL employees in New Jersey, the study assesses comfort with different applications of AI and associated factors.
