Original Article Abstract Purpose: To investigate the rotational stability of a new hydrophobic C-loop one-piece toric intraocular lens (IOL). Methods: In this retrospective multicenter case series, the Avansee Preload1P Toric Clear (Kowa Co Ltd) was implanted using a digital marking system. Its orientation was assessed with retroillumination photographs at 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months.

Original Article Abstract PURPOSE: To investigate whether using lens thickness measurement as an optional input improves the refractive accuracy of four new generation formulas. METHODS: Consecutive patients scheduled for cataract surgery were enrolled. Preoperative biometry was performed with an OA-2000 optical biometer (Tomey). All patients received the same monofocal intraocular lens (AcrySof SN-60WF; Alcon Laboratories, Inc).
