Creativity is a high-order cognitive function that is important for societal and personal development and advancement (Diamond, 2013; Helson & Pals, 2000). Creativity is, for example, important for academic performance (Gajda, 2016; Karwowski et al., 2020; Sternberg, 2003), job success (Newton & Newton, 2014), business innovation, and inventions (Carruthers, 2002).

Abstract : In some areas of sex research, we note room for methodological improvement of research practices. In particular, in the field of hypersexuality research, where societal norms have been influential, methodological improvement might advance goals of objectivity in research.
