Performance improvement of single-molecule sensors through deep learning-based decoding of tunneling signals enables sub-attomolar sensitivity
Abstract Detecting individual molecules in real time provides high sensitivity for sensing applications. The break junction technique enables highly sensitive single-molecule detection by capturing the specific electronic signatures of individual molecules. However, this method is typically restricted by the requirement for anchoring groups on target analytes. Harnessing intermolecular interactions offers a solution to detect molecules without anchoring groups.
Patch-to-slide fusion deep learning model for histological diagnosis of early pregnancy loss including hydatidiform mole
|
Abstract Distinguishing histological subtypes of early pregnancy loss is crucial for clinical practice. Current gold standards combining pathological and molecular profiling are costly, limiting implementation. We developed a patch-to-slide fusion artificial intelligence (AI) model with adaptive masking to predict histological diagnosis.

Analysis of the spatial and temporal evolution and driving factors of landscape ecological risk in Xiaojiang River Basin, Yunnan, China
A transfer matrix for the Xiaojiang River Basin from 2000 to 2020 was calculated to further analyze the transformation of LER classes (). The positive LER conversion type (high to low risk) during the study period included eight categories: high to sub-high, high to medium, high to sub-low, sub-high to medium, sub-high to sub-low, medium to sub-low, medium to low, and sub-low to low.

Research on Landslide Trace Recognition by Fusing UAV-Based LiDAR DEM Multi-Feature Information
4. Results 4.1. Results of DEM Multi-Feature Image Construction Based on the methods described in , the results of DEM and four types of multi-feature images, including hillshading, slope, positive openness, and sky-view factor, are shown below (). We processed the point cloud data using LiDAR360 software v5.3 to generate a DEM and then used the Relief Visualization Toolbox (RVT) [,] to generate four multi-feature images.

Effect of fiber type and content on mechanical properties of microbial solidified sand
1 Introduction Microbial-induced calcite precipitation (MICP) is an emerging and sustainable technology for soil improvement (Pacheco et al., 2022). This technology uses the reaction of metabolic products of microorganisms with calcium salts in the environment and rapidly precipitates calcium carbonate crystals with excellent cementation.
Study on Multi-Scale Characteristics and Influencing Factors of Trade-Offs and Synergies between Ecosystem Services in Jiangxi Province
3.2.1. Analysis of Static Spatial Correlation In this study, for convenient comparison, the grid was used as the evaluation unit to calculate the mean of ecosystem services over the years; and the correlation between services was calculated from the three statistical scales of samples, watershed, county and grid, so as to judge the trade-offs and synergies.
Exploration of the Compressive Strength and Microscopic Properties of Portland Cement Taking Attapulgite and Montmorillonite Clay as an Additive
Abstract : The effects of attapulgite and montmorillonite calcinated at 750 °C for 2 h as supplementary cementing materials (SCMs) on the working properties, mechanical strength, phase composition, morphology, hydration and heat release of ordinary Portland cement (OPC) were studied.
Fano Resonance in Single‐Molecule Junctions
Abstract This work offers the first direct observation of the Fano resonance effect in single-molecule junctions by the charge injection on the nitrogen atom using an EC-STM-BJ technique at room temperature, which provides a facile way to manipulate electron tunneling in the single-molecule junctions and opens a new avenue toward the design of interference-based molecular electronic devices.
Effective suppression of conductance in multichannel molecular wires
Highlights A multichannel molecular wire with high- and low-conductive channels is synthesized Counter-intuitive conductance suppression is found in multichannel molecular wires Low-conductive channels suppress the electron transport in high-conductive channel Summary Although quantum effects have introduced fascinating properties to molecular circuits, exploring new features for molecular circuits remains a challenge.

Physiopathological factors affecting the diagnostic value of serum HE4-test for gynecologic malignancies
Expert commentary : Studies have shown that physiopathological factors such as age, infection/inflammation, renal function, menopause and hormonal levels impose significant impacts on HE4 serum levels. HE4 amount shed into the circulation is related to HE4 expression and secretion by tumor as well as normal tissues, which is affected by cancer heterogeneity, vascular permeability, renal clearance and HE4 degradation.
