1 Introduction Pesticides are used in domestic and agricultural settings to create a healthy environment by controlling unwanted organisms such as weeds, insects, fungi, parasites, and rodents. Pesticides have properties such as reducing the reproduction of organisms and having a lethal effect (Akdogan et al. 2012).

1 Introduction Herbicides are widely used to control weeds in agricultural activities (Iwakami et al. 2014). The process of herbicide absorption by soils begins in soil environments. Processes such as the movement, evaporation, or degradation of herbicide in the soil determine its bioavailability, its metabolism by organisms such as microorganisms, and the possibility of contamination by mixing with groundwater or surface water (Chirukuri and Atmakuru 2015).
