Mustangs Top Air Force, 3-0, for First Win of 2025

USAF, Colo. – Held scoreless during its opening two games of the season, the Cal Poly men's soccer program saw freshman defender Tanner Casey and sophomore midfielder Rylan Firouznam (above) score 64 seconds apart early in Friday's first half as the Mustangs secured a 3-0 victory at Air Force. Forward Oren Stuppel added a 40th-minute strike while fellow senior Nicky McCune chalked up five saves in goal to earn his first shutout of the season for Cal Poly (1-0-2).

USAF ACADEMY – The Falcon men's soccer team fell to Cal Poly, 3-0, Friday evening at Cadet Soccer Stadium. The Mustangs wrangled in their first win of the campaign (1-2) while Air Force remains in the hunt for their first win (0-4-1). Poly's first strike came in the 12th minute as Michael Vick serviced Tanner Casey's header from the corner. Just 64 seconds later (13'), Cal Poly found their confidence with a second strike, this time it was Rylan Firouznam who finished a shot deflected from the post.
