Google Gemini taps Shah Rukh Khan to make AI more accessible across India
AI awareness in India is growing rapidly, but everyday usage remains largely limited to English-speaking metro users. For the 470 million internet users across Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns, language can remain a barrier to confidence and opportunity. To address this gap, Google India has launched a Google Gemini campaign featuring none other than Shah Rukh Khan.
Tesseract: Beyond the Visible
Prasoon Joshi unpacks how the theatrical show turned surface-level illusions into a gateway to truth Most stage shows ask you to watch. Tesseract asks you to look again. What stayed with me was not only its scale, though the scale is unmistakable. It was the thought running quietly beneath it: That truth rarely sits on the surface. You do not always see it at first glance. Sometimes you sense it first.
When Intelligence Skips Childhood
The new intelligence has skipped childhood. It did not scribble in the margins or hide a poem under a pillow. It did not labour over an unfinished sentence at 2 am. It did not struggle with doubt or wrestle with finding just the right note. It didn’t feel the sting of being misunderstood, or the ache of wanting to say something and not yet know how. It never felt the joy of finding its voice. The art we eventually create carries the residue of those invisible years.

Prasoon Joshi Remembers Piyush Pandey: The Man, The Laugh, The Legacy
It feels like a shock to be saying“was” when talking about Piyush. Because for most of us who knew him, he wasn’t just a colleague or a leader — he was a pulse, a presence, a laugh that filled the room before he did. I first met Piyush in a world that could easily take itself too seriously. But he never did. To him, advertising wasn’t work — it was life itself. Messy, emotional, spontaneous, and full of humour.

Piyush believed in celebration - of life, people, and stories
It’s hard to believe that Piyush’s laughter is now only a memory. What a remarkable era he defined — a man who made work feel like life itself. For him, emotion was strategy, and simplicity, a form of craft. Piyush made a generation believe you could be yourself — rooted in your culture — and still create work that connects with everyone. He showed us that being real and emotional could be your greatest strength, not something to hide behind polish.
Piyush Pandey brought the language of small towns into ad agency corridors: Prasoon Joshi
Piyush believed in getting his hands dirty. He never cut corners. I’ve been with him at family functions, we’d sit on the side cracking ideas and then join in the festivities. Our work ethic was in sync. Our timings differed though. I still recall his very early morning calls after working late into the night. His voice booming with a chirpy “Kahan ho Tiger?” That work ethic has stayed with me and manifests in my current work life too. Also read: Piyush Pandey was among the greatest storytellers.

Exploring the Intersection of AI and Human Creativity: A Deep Dive into the Unseen Potential
Exploring the Intersection of AI and Human Creativity By Prasoon Joshi In every era, creativity has been redefined, shaped by the cultural and technological contexts of the time. Today, we find ourselves at a unique crossroads where creativity is being scrutinized through the lens of artificial intelligence (AI). This intersection is a hotbed of discussion, debate, and analysis, ranging from celebration to caution. Let’s delve into this fascinating topic.
Creativity. Culture. Entertainment
Over the years, the once-clear divide between advertising and entertainment has softened. I felt this shift more keenly at this year’s Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, especially while judging the Entertainment category. This year’s best festival entries showed that we don’t just acknowledge the role of entertainment in messaging, we celebrate it. Entertainment is not separate from advertising, but fundamental to its success. To me, entertainment has always been at the heart of advertising.
Entertain or Fade Away: The New Imperative for Brands
Lines between advertising and entertainment have been blurring for quite some time now. Today, we openly acknowledge the role of entertainment in messaging-reflected in its recognition as a separate category at festivals like Cannes. But if we look back at the fundamentals of advertising, entertainment has always been rooted in its essence. We needed creativity to communicate. The subtle art of crafting a message was always valued.

What we lose when words become weapons
Legend has it that an erudite sage travelled through a village where a respected scholar resided. Their disciples planned a debate to establish who had the better mind. A crowd gathered, expecting a fiery interaction. To everyone’s surprise, they acknowledged each other and walked back to their respective abodes.
What we lose when words become weapons
We argue to wound others and win, rather than to learn together. This is as true in TV debates or social media as in social settings. Our sages and scholars knew better Legend has it that an erudite sage travelled through a village where a respected scholar resided. Their disciples planned a debate to establish who had the better mind. A crowd gathered, expecting a fiery interaction. To everyone’s surprise, they acknowledged each other and walked back to their respective abodes.
