Interview

How is social media changing news?

Social media has made news more immediate and accessible than ever before. In gaming, it's often where players first discover announcements, developer updates, and emerging indie titles. At the same time, it has increased the importance of thoughtful, accurate reporting that provides context beyond a headline or short video. I believe social media and journalism work best together, using each to inform, engage, and connect communities around stories that matter.

Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

Lois Lane. I've always admired her curiosity, determination, and commitment to telling meaningful stories. She reminds me that great journalism isn't just about reporting facts. It's about understanding people and sharing stories that make an impact.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

I welcome pitches about indie games, life simulation games, Early Access titles, developer interviews, creator stories, game updates, and community-focused features. I appreciate personalized emails that clearly explain why a story would resonate with my audience. Whenever possible, please include a press kit, gameplay footage, screenshots, release dates, and review or preview access if available.

What's your favorite social network?

TikTok. It's where I connect most with my community through livestreams, gameplay, and short-form videos. I also enjoy discovering new indie games and engaging with developers and fellow creators.

Who do you wish followed you?

The Paralives team. As someone who has been passionate about life simulation games for more than 20 years, their work has inspired much of my creative journey. It would be an honor to have them follow my work as I continue building a positive community around the game and supporting the indie gaming space.

Why did you become a journalist?

I became a writer because I wanted to tell the stories behind the games I love. After more than 20 years of playing life simulation games, I realized I wanted to do more than create videos. I wanted to write about the developers, the communities, and the creativity that make indie games so special. Through Prisimpuff, my goal is to help readers discover incredible games, celebrate the people who make them, and show how games can inspire meaningful connections and lasting communities.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

My favorite story so far is How Paralives Reignited My Love for Life Simulation Games. It's a personal reflection on how one indie game reignited a passion I've had for more than 20 years and inspired me to build a community around creativity, storytelling, and supporting independent developers. That article represents more than a game. It represents the beginning of my journey as a gaming writer and my mission to champion indie games and the communities they create.
