Social media has made news more immediate and accessible than ever before. In gaming, it's often where players first discover announcements, developer updates, and emerging indie titles. At the same time, it has increased the importance of thoughtful, accurate reporting that provides context beyond a headline or short video. I believe social media and journalism work best together, using each to inform, engage, and connect communities around stories that matter.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Lois Lane. I've always admired her curiosity, determination, and commitment to telling meaningful stories. She reminds me that great journalism isn't just about reporting facts. It's about understanding people and sharing stories that make an impact.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I welcome pitches about indie games, life simulation games, Early Access titles, developer interviews, creator stories, game updates, and community-focused features. I appreciate personalized emails that clearly explain why a story would resonate with my audience. Whenever possible, please include a press kit, gameplay footage, screenshots, release dates, and review or preview access if available.
