1. Introduction Solar radiation has an unavoidable impact on the integrity of concrete bridges in their natural habitat [1]. The bridge experiences a fluctuating and non-linear temperature field due to solar radiation. The temperature inside the concrete bridge has a major effect on the dependability and longevity of the concrete structure. The influence of temperature on concrete box girders is notably noteworthy [2,3,4,5].
