Circular RNAs in cervical cancer: from ceRNA networks to epitranscriptomic regulation, immune modulation, and metastatic reprogramming
Abstract Cervical cancer progression is driven not only by persistent high-risk human papillomavirus infection but also by multilayered post-transcriptional regulatory networks that reshape tumor cell behavior and the tumor microenvironment. Among these regulators, circular RNAs (circRNAs) have emerged as pivotal modulators of oncogenic signaling.
How the circular economy pilot promotes renewable energy development
Abstract Embedding renewable energy development within a circular economic framework becomes increasingly important. This study uses the 2013 Circular Economy Pilot City Program (CEP) as a natural experiment and applies a DID model to estimate its effects on renewable energy from 2006 to 2021. We measure urban renewable energy development using renewable energy consumption. The findings are as follows. First, the CEP promotes renewable energy development.
Reducing Sulfur Dioxide and Boosting Agricultural Productivity: Evidence From China's Sulfur Dioxide Trading Pilot
1 Introduction As industrialization advances, atmospheric pollution has become a global issue. Taking sulfur dioxide as an example, emissions solely from coal-fired power plants lead to over one million deaths annually (Lelieveld et al. 2015). Sulfur dioxide severely damages human lung function (Hazucha and Bates 1975). It also has varying degrees of harmful effects on vegetation (LeBlanc and Rao 1973) and contributes to the generation of more acid rain (Barreca et al. 2021).
