Abstract Due to delayed water injection, strong fracture development and insufficient pressure maintenance after long-term depletion, oil production in the North Troyes carbonate reservoir has declined year by year. Moreover, because the reservoir contains low-volatility crude oil and a complex fracture network, produced GOR is high and water cut rises rapidly, so it is necessary to clarify the dominant controls on water-injection performance for development adjustment.

1. Introduction Large amounts of greenhouse gas emissions have accelerated the process of global warming, seriously threatening the Earth’s ecosystem and human health, and the issue of climate change has gradually attracted the attention of all countries. The Paris Agreement, signed at the 21st Climate Conference in 2015, not only regulates carbon emission reduction in developed countries, but also requires that developing countries take up the task of emission reduction [1].
