1 Introduction Gastric cancer remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related morbidity and mortality worldwide. Despite significant advances in surgery, chemoradiotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy, survival outcomes for patients with advanced gastric cancer remain poor [1, 2]. Metastasis is the major contributor to poor outcomes in gastric cancer, and tumor immune evasion promotes disease progression and limits the efficacy of immunotherapy [3-5].

This study applied a prospective, observational (non-randomized) design, recruiting patients receiving anticancer agents from March 2021 to August 2021. This work didn’t interfere with clinical decision-making or risk beyond conventional treatment, enrolling and following only patients prescribed fosaprepitant. No identifiable information will be included in the recorded data to protect the privacy of the subjects.
