5. Discussion 5.1. Characteristics of Water Temperature Changes before Earthquakes As mentioned above, the average standard deviation of the Jinjia well water temperature was 0.0015 °C. The variation range of water temperature changes before the five earthquakes was 0.007–0.07 °C (Table 1). The minimum variation (0.007 °C) was more than four times the standard deviation.
