Single-crystal rhombohedral boron nitride wafers for integrated sliding ferroelectric memory
Abstract Two-dimensional rhombohedral boron nitride (rBN) has emerged as a promising sliding ferroelectric material for high-density, fast-speed and non-volatile memories. However, the batch production of ferroelectric rBN wafers has remained a critical challenge due to the thermodynamic instability of the rhombohedral phase and the inherent difficulties in maintaining consistent growth kinetics.
Conduction system pacing versus biventricular pacing for cardiac resynchronization therapy: an updated systematic review and meta‑analysis
Abstract Conduction system pacing (CSP) has emerged as a potential alternative to biventricular pacing (BiVP) for cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT). However, the relative efficacy and safety of different CSP techniques remain unclear. We searched PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing CSP with BiVP. The primary outcome was the composite of all-cause death or heart failure hospitalization.
Fractional high-Chern insulator in twisted rhombohedral graphene
Abstract The realization of fractional Chern insulators opens the possibility of exploring fractionally charged excitations1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and anyonic statistics8,9,10,11 in the absence of a magnetic field. A central question is whether lattice-based systems can give rise to radically new states, distinct from those observed in traditional fractional quantum Hall systems12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20.
Medication literacy among patients with chronic diseases in long-term care facilities: a latent profile analysis
1 Introduction The Healthy China Initiative (2019–2030) identifies chronic non-communicable diseases as the primary causes of death and disease burden among Chinese residents (1). Moreover, the prevalence of chronic diseases among older individuals in long-term care (LTC) facilities in China exceeds the national average (2). LTC facilities in China are broadly classified into two categories: those with integrated medical and long-term care services and those without.

Single-layer group III-IV-VI semiconductors: potential photocatalysts for water splitting with high carrier mobilities
Single-layer group III-IV-VI semiconductors: potential photocatalysts for water splitting with high carrier mobilities As a novel member of the two-dimensional (2D) family, the GaGeTe monolayer has been successfully synthesized recently, attracting extensive research attention for its unique physical and chemical properties. However, due to its narrow bandgap, it cannot be applied in photocatalysis.

Coupling Hyperbolic GCN with Graph Generation for Spatial Community Detection and Dynamic Evolution Analysis
1. Introduction The accelerated development of urbanization has led to an expansion in the scale of cities, accompanied by increases in population and traffic flows. As the primary location for human mobility, the incongruity between the sharply rising demand for travel and lagging urban planning and construction is prone to result in a series of urban problems [1].
Evolution of triclosan resistance modulates bacterial permissiveness to multidrug resistance plasmids and phages - Nature Communications
Abstract The horizontal transfer of plasmids has been recognized as one of the key drivers for the worldwide spread of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) across bacterial pathogens. However, knowledge remain limited about the contribution made by environmental stress on the evolution of bacterial AMR by modulating horizontal acquisition of AMR plasmids and other mobile genetic elements.

Alteration of chromosome structure impacts gene expressions implicated in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma cells - BMC Genomics
The human PDAC cell lines PANC-1 and BxPC-3 were sourced from the National Collection of Authenticated Cell Cultures (NCACC). Human pancreatic ductal epithelial cells H6C7 were procured from Hunan Fenghui Biotechnology. The cell lines were maintained in RPMI 1640 medium supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS) and 1% penicillin and streptomycin (PS). Incubation of the cultures was conducted at 37℃ within a humidified atmosphere containing 5% CO2.

High-performance photocatalytic and piezoelectric properties of two-dimensional transition metal oxyhalide $\mathrm{ZrO}{X}_{2} (X=\mathrm{Br},\mathrm{I})$ and their Janus structures
As an emerging type of two-dimensional (2D) family, transition metal oxyhalides with the chemical formula MOX2 have been studied in recent years. Inspired by the successful synthesis of ZrOI2 monolayer with excellent photocatalytic and piezoelectric properties, we conducted a systematic and comprehensive investigation of ZrOX2 (X=Br,I) and its Janus ZrOBrI monolayers using first-principles calculations.
Advanced Generation Therapeutics: Biomimetic Nanodelivery System for Tumor Immunotherapy
Tumor immunotherapy is a safe and effective strategy for precision medicine. However, immunotherapy for most cancer cases still ends in failure, with the root causes of the immunosuppressive and extraordinary heterogeneity of the solid tumors microenvironment. The emerging biomimetic nanodelivery system provides a promising tactic to improve the immunotherapy effect while reducing the adverse reactions on nontarget cells.

A Moist Potential Vorticity Model for Mid-Latitude Long-Lived Mesoscale Convective Systems over Land
Abstract Mesoscale convective systems (MCSs) bring large amounts of rainfall and strong wind gusts to the mid-latitude land regions, with significant impacts on local weather and hydrologic cycle. However, weather and climate models face a huge challenge in accurately modeling the MCS life cycle and the associated precipitation, highlighting an urgent need for a better understanding of the underlying mechanisms of MCS initiation and propagation.

The Watches Pushing The Boundaries Of Watchmaking
About Time Are mechanical watches obsolete? Hardly. Here’s evidence that they are as forward-thinking as ever Words by Mr Chris Hall Photography by Mr Qiu Yang You’d be forgiven for thinking: didn’t mankind perfect the watch decades, if not centuries, ago? And, more recently, hasn’t the idea of mechanical timekeeping, powered by something as basic as a wound-up spring, been obsolete since the advent of digital watches?

Heavy Metal Resistance Genes Are Associated with blaNDM-1- and blaCTX-M-15-Carrying Enterobacteriaceae
The occurrence of heavy metal resistance genes in multiresistant Enterobacteriaceae possessing bla or bla genes was examined by PCR and pulsed-field gel electrophoresis with S1 nuclease. Compared with clinical susceptible isolates (10.0% to 30.0%), the pcoA, merA, silC, and arsA genes occurred with higher frequencies in bla -positive (48.8% to 71.8%) and bla -positive (19.4% to 52.8%) isolates, and they were mostly located on plasmids.
