Potent and Sustained Lowering of Serum Uric Acid by YJH-012-D, a GalNAc-Conjugated siRNA Targeting Xanthine Dehydrogenase
1 Introduction Hyperuricemia (HUA) is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by abnormally elevated serum uric acid levels. Its global prevalence is rising, particularly in China, in parallel with population aging and changes in lifestyle [1]. A nationwide survey spanning 13 provinces reported a prevalence of 6.4% among Chinese adults [2].
HMGA2 identified via m6A-senescence multi-omics in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma
Abstract N6-methyladenosine (m6A) modification and cellular senescence have been individually implicated in tumor biology, but the landscape of m6A-related senescence genes in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) remains underexplored. In this study, we conducted an integrated multi-omics analysis combining bulk and single-cell transcriptomics, somatic mutation and copy number variation data, and proteomics to explore the clinical and molecular impacts of m6A-related senescence.
Btg2 inhibits Fmo1 UFMylation thus exacerbating ferroptosis and apoptosis in hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury
Abstract Hepatic ischemia‒reperfusion injury (HIRI) represents a frequently occurring pathological condition during liver surgery, yet the mechanisms governing HIRI remain inadequately comprehended. Here, we investigate the role of B-cell translocation gene 2 (Btg2) in HIRI. Btg2 is upregulated following HIRI. A 70% HIRI model using hepatocyte-specific Btg2 transgenic and systemic Btg2 knockout mice reveals that Btg2 deteriorates hepatic inflammation and apoptosis.
