The present study is a mixed-methods, comparative interrupted-time series (CITS) study [40, 41] to compare the implementation metrics, drivers and outcomes, effectiveness, and cost-effectiveness of two bundled implementation strategies to deliver GlobalConsent to men attending six pair-matched universities in North, Central, and South Vietnam. The Framework for Reporting Adaptations and Modifications-Expanded (FRAME) [36] guides the aim 1 implementation assessments.

Study setting Vietnam, a lower middle-income country occupying the eastern portion of mainland Southeast Asia, has a population of over 98.5 million [43]. About 85% of the population is of Kinh ethnicity, and 54 ethnic groups are recognized [44]. Although most of the population does not affiliate with a religion, Christians and Buddhists are prominent minority groups [45]. Over the last two decades, Vietnam’s economy has grown 7% annually [46] while poverty has declined [47].
