Combination of gemcitabine, pegaspargase, etoposide, and dexamethasone (GPED) in the treatment of advanced extranodal NK/T‐cell lymphoma
Purpose: Extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma (ENKTCL) is a highly aggressive lymphoma, with dismal outcomes for patients with advanced disease. No standard chemotherapy regimens were defined yet, especially for those with concurrent hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH). Methods: Patients with advanced stage ENKTCL were treated with combination of gemcitabine, pegaspargase, etoposide, and dexamethasone (GPED) since January 2020 in our center.
S1PR1 serves as a viable drug target against pulmonary fibrosis by increasing the integrity of the endothelial barrier of the lung.

Tackling Challenges of a Drier, Hotter, More Fire-Prone Future
Droughts, heat waves, and wildfires are among the costliest and most life-threatening disasters in the United States and worldwide. Wildfires in the western United States burned nearly 3.56 million hectares (8.8 million acres) in 2020, or about 75% more area than expected in an average year.
Morphological indicators of a mascon beneath Ceres' largest crater, Kerwan
Gravity data of Ceres returned by NASA's Dawn spacecraft is consistent with a lower density crust of variable thickness overlying a higher density mantle. Crustal thickness variations can affect the long-term, post-impact modification of impact craters on Ceres. Here we show that the unusual morphology of the 280-km diameter crater Kerwan may result from viscous relaxation in an outer layer that thins substantially beneath the crater floor.
Constraints on Ceres' Internal Structure and Evolution From Its Shape and Gravity Measured by the Dawn Spacecraft
Ceres is the largest body in the asteroid belt. Unlike most of the objects in that region of the solar system, Ceres has a round shape due to its sufficient gravity. Little was known about Ceres before the Dawn mission. The measurements by the Dawn spacecraft allowed precise determination of Ceres' shape and gravity field. We use these two data sets to understand its internal structure. It was predicted in the past that Ceres topography would quickly viscously relax if Ceres had an icy crust.
Evidence for the Interior Evolution of Ceres from Geologic Analysis of Fractures
Ceres is the largest asteroid belt object, and the Dawn spacecraft observed Ceres since 2015. Dawn observed two morphologically distinct linear features on Ceres's surface: secondary crater chains and pit chains. Pit chains provide unique insights into Ceres's interior evolution. We interpret pit chains called the Samhain Catenae as the surface expression of subsurface fractures.
Micrometer-scale magnetic imaging of geological samples using a quantum diamond microscope
Remanent magnetization in geological samples may record the past intensity and direction of planetary magnetic fields. Traditionally, this magnetization is analyzed through measurements of the net magnetic moment of bulk millimeter to centimeter sized samples. However, geological samples are often mineralogically and texturally heterogeneous at submillimeter scales, with only a fraction of the ferromagnetic grains carrying the remanent magnetization of interest.
Ultrasound guidance compared with electrical neurostimulation for peripheral nerve block: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials
Background Despite the growing interest in the use of ultrasound (US) imaging to guide performance of regional anaesthetic procedures such as peripheral nerve blocks, controversy still exists as to whether US is superior to previously developed nerve localization techniques such as the use of a peripheral nerve stimulator (PNS).
The missing large impact craters on Ceres
Asteroids provide fundamental clues to the formation and evolution of planetesimals. Collisional models based on the depletion of the primordial main belt of asteroids predict 10–15 craters >400 km should have formed on Ceres, the largest object between Mars and Jupiter, over the last 4.55 Gyr. Likewise, an extrapolation from the asteroid Vesta would require at least 6–7 such basins. However, Ceres’ surface appears devoid of impact craters >~280 km.
The missing large impact craters on Ceres
Ceres’ surface exhibits a plethora of impact craters, making cratering a primary geological and evolutionary process. The spatial density of craters >20 km, however, is very asymmetric and varies across the surface by a factor of ~5, with the highest density found in the northern hemisphere (Fig. 1a). The latter have reached a level of crater spatial density, in the range 20–70 km, compatible with saturation. The global size-frequency distribution (SFD) for large craters (≥70 km) is shown in Fig. 1a.
COMPARISON OF CHARACTERISTICS AND HOSPITAL COSTS IN PATIENTS UNDERGOING OPEN, LAPAROSCOPIC, AND ROBOTIC-ASSISTED COLECTOMY
The cost of colectomy may vary widely; however, an understanding of factors contributing to this variation is still limited. In this study total hospital costs were compared between open (OC), laparoscopic (LC), and robotic-assisted colectomies (RC). Factors associated with differences in hospital costs across different surgical approaches were explored.
