Critical point anomalies in doped ${\mathrm{CeRhIn}}_{5}$
The heavy-fermion compound CeRhIn5 can be tuned through a quantum critical point, when In is partially replaced by Sn. In this way additional charge carriers are introduced and the antiferromagnetic order is gradually suppressed to zero temperature. Here we investigate the temperature-dependent optical properties of CeRh(In1−xSnx)5 single crystals for x=4.4%, 6.9%, and 9.8%. With increasing Sn concentration the infrared conductivity reveals a clear enhancement of the c−f hybridization strength.
Charge density wave transition in the magnetic topological semimetal ${\mathrm{EuAl}}_{4}$
In rare-earth intermetallic topological materials, carriers from topological bands mediate the magnetic interactions between local moments, giving rise to a plethora of exotic quantum phenomena. Recently, anomalous magnetic instability, helical spin orders, and skyrmions were found in topological semimetal EuAl4 with tetragonal lattice. Comparing with its counterpart EuGa4, which does not show intricate magnetism, the difference lies in the presence of charge-density wave (CDW) order in EuAl4.
Impact of disorder in the charge density wave state of Pd-intercalated ${\mathrm{ErTe}}_{3}$ revealed by the electrodynamic response
It is a general notion that disorder, introduced by either chemical substitution or intercalation as well as by electron irradiation, is detrimental to the realization of long-range charge density wave (CDW) order. We study the disorder-induced suppression of in-plane CDW orders in two-dimensional Pd-intercalated ErTe3 compositions by exploring the real part of the optical conductivity with light polarized along the in-plane a and c axes.

The novel hypoglycemic agent: polysaccharides from Laver (Porphyra spp)
The novel hypoglycemic agent: polysaccharides from Laver (Porphyra spp) Type-II diabetes mellitus (T2DM) has become one of the most prevalent diseases on earth and some treatments have been developed to manage it. One intestinal enzyme α-amylase can break down starch to glucose. Inhibiting its activity will control blood glucose and provide an essential approach to the management of T2DM.
Imaging Endogenous HClO in atherosclerosis using a novel fast-response Fluorescence Probe
Imaging Endogenous HClO in atherosclerosis using a novel fast-response Fluorescence Probe A novel pyrene-based naked-eye colorimetric and fluorescent turn-on probe (S-ClO) possessing a donor-π-acceptor (D-π-A) archetype for the action of HClO detection in aqueous solution was designed and developed.
Identification of breast cancer associated altered DNA methylation in peripheral blood using MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry
Background: Breast cancer (BC) is the leading cause of cancer-related mortality in women worldwide. Changes in DNA methylation in peripheral blood could be associated with malignancy at early stage. However, the BC-associated DNA methylation signatures in peripheral blood were largely unknown. Methods: Illumina 27K Methylation Array and Illumina 450K Methylation Array for the discovery of BC-related aberrant methylation sites in peripheral blood.
