Word, iTalk, Skype.

What's your favorite social network?

Twitter. I interact with more people and can find sources and information quickly in real time.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

My New York Times article on librarians, Instagram and Bookface. It was wonderful to delve into a story about both words and images.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Find a niche you enjoy but don't feel you are stuck writing within that niche. You don't want to get burned out.
