When you look for the best places to visit during the Halloween season, it’s almost guaranteed that Salem, Massachusetts will make the list. After all, it’s supposedly filled with hauntings, most of which involve the trials and executions of several locals who were convicted of allegedly practicing witchcraft in 1692.

I think it’s safe to say that none of us expected life to be anything like this heading into 2020. It’s been something like out of a movie (watch Contagion at your own risk) with things going on in the world. Welcome to this new normal. This is week 8 of “quarantine life,” and while a lot of states (including Florida) are getting ready to start easing some of the current restrictions in place today, things certainly won’t be going back to “normal” any time soon.
