If you share your bed with a dog, you both want to be comfy, and to have a mattress that doesn’t move when they fidget and move around. Patch loves snuggling up with me so when the bed company, Simba, invited me to try their Original Hybrid mattress, I couldn’t wait to give it a go. I’d just moved and bought mattresses for at home but I also run a dog-friendly holiday cottage – Sunnyside Cottage in Robin Hood’s Bay.

If you’ve ever tried to pack your car with your dog, your stuff, and all the bits you need for a few days away – you’ll know how much stuff you need. I drive a Fiat 500 which is the most impractical car for someone who travels a lot and carries a lot of stuff backwards and forwards to Patch’s holiday home, Sunnyside Cottage in Robin Hood’s Bay. So I need to have as much space as possible and ensure Patch can travel comfortably too.
