The claim that Taylor Farms, a company federal officials tied to a 2026 outbreak of the foodborne illness cyclosporiasis, does not allow its crop harvesters bathroom breaks is still under investigation. A union representing Taylor Farms processing plant workers — not crop harvesters — has repeatedly alleged that the company has failed to provide workers in California with adequate access to restrooms.
