Two shot in Augusta on Friday, one victim dies

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Richmond County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting incident that turned deadly Friday. According to RCSO, a call came in at 3:58 p.m. on Aug. 21 in reference to a shooting at the 3800 block of Old Waynesboro Road. Upon arrival, deputies located a male victim and a female victim. Both had been shot at least once. Both were transported to the hospital for treatment, but the male later died from his injuries.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting incident that turned deadly Friday. According to RCSO, a call came in at 3:58 p.m. on Aug. 21 in reference to a shooting at the 3800 block of Old Waynesboro Road. Upon arrival, deputies located a male victim and a female victim. Both had been shot at least once. Both were transported to the hospital for treatment, but the male later died from his injuries. The Criminal Investigation Division is on scene.
