This train is bound for the future
"This train is bound for _____." The MARTA train splits Atlanta into four quadrants and greets you with this introduction every time you board. It is both a statement of fact and a nod to Atlanta's - and Georgia's - strange, wonderful, contradictory history. "This Train" is a song that, like Atlanta itself, encompasses the entire South in origin and influence.
Introducing Resonance
Over the past several years, the product team at Vox Media has worked hard to build the best in class tools to serve our editorial needs. These tools were historically built in separate teams, each building individual products. We realized that this solution wasn’t the best user experience possible, straining all of our teams to learn a variety of different tools with different interfaces and workflows.

Follow along: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook.

Join us in Austin, the weekend of November 13-15, 2015, as the SNDMakes team partners with Statesman Media.

After 2.5 days of facilitated brainstorming and prototyping at SNDMakes D.C., 11 teams created projects that addressed the design challenge, “How might we tell better picture stories?” Cross-functional teams of designers, developers, journalists and product managers created projects that largely centered around themes like annotation, contextualization, and using photography to navigate non-linear stories.
