What was your first job as a journalist?

A virtual press conference interviewing Ross County's Oli Shaw and Malky Mackay! Back to face to face conferences now, which is nice.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Laptop! Can't go wrong with a notebook and pen either. For podcasts, my mic setup is simple, but effective. Blue yeti and some headphones.

What's your favorite social network?

Twitter. It can be toxic but it's brilliant for sharing your work and trading feedback with other journalists.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Pick up a pen (or digital equivalent) and just start! Also find those with the same interests as you and tell them about your work!

What's your favorite drink?

Root beer. I drink about six cups of tea a day though- some decaf, don't worry!
