New Drugs under Development As the available data and research activity for the cure of PCOS patients is limited, there is a need for the best alternative therapy that should be economical and easily accessible with reduced side effects and adverse drug reactions. Studies have proven that there is a significant association between PCOS and endometriosis [215], while another study’s results show that 76% of patients with endometriosis in stages I and II were reported to have PCOS [216].
