Ranu Joardar Delhi High Court on Wednesday upheld that the National Stock Exchange (NSE) is a public authority under the RTI Act. The judgment was announcement by a two judge bench in response to NSE challenging the 2010 order. In 2010, the HC held that stock exchanges are public authorities and, hence, are bound to disclose information under Right To Information Act.

Ranu Joardar The roof of a building collapsed, killing at least 14 children and injuring five in Pakistan's Lahore, the Edhi ambulance service said on Tuesday. “A roof collapse in Basti Eid Gah, Kahna Nau, has claimed the lives of 14 children, while five others were injured,” AFP quoted an Edhi spokesperson saying in a statement. Later, the provincial police announced on X that two people have been taken into custody over the disaster while the rescue efforts at the tutoring centre are underway.
