1 Introduction Situs inversus totalis (SIT) is a rare congenital anomaly where there is a complete reversal of the thoracic and abdominal organs, with the prevalence rate being 1 per 6000–20,000 births (0.01% of the population) [1, 2]. The anomaly develops due to the malfunctioning of the laterality determination process in the development of the embryo leading to dextrocardia and the presence of the liver, gallbladder, and hepatoduodenal ligament on the left side [3].

We report an elderly man's case involving a sewing needle, removed via endoscopy.
