I always think of characters like R.K. Laxman’s ‘Common Man’, though he wasn’t a journalist per se. Through cartoons he questioned authority, highlighted everyday struggles, and spoke truth to power — the kind of perspective every journalist should aspire to bring out. It’s fictional, but rooted in India’s reality
