Women’s stories to be told at new National Mall monument

(DC Bureau) – The Women’s Suffrage National Monument Foundation is developing a monument on the National Mall to honor women’s contributions to American democracy. Approved by Congress in 2020, the monument will be located on two and a half acres in the Congressional Gardens. The project is funded solely through private donations, with no taxpayer dollars being used for its construction.
