På oppdrag for forskningsprogrammet Concept har Vista Analyse, Analysys Mason og Metier utredet levetiden til digitale investeringsprosjekter i staten. Vi anbefaler at forventet levetid økes til 10 til 20 år for digitaliseringsprosjekter uten store infrastrukturkomponenter, med 15 år som standard. For digitale infrastrukturprosjekter anbefaler vi 20 år som standard og 15 til 40 år som ramme. I utredninger bør man regne levetider fra prosjektene tas i bruk og ta hensyn til mulighetene for havari.
