Zeolite-Based Adsorbents as Next-Generation Materials for Sustainable Lithium Recovery Technologies
This version is not peer-reviewed. Md Razaul Karim,Hong Je Cho * Md Razaul Karim,Hong Je Cho * You are already at the latest version The rapid growth of electric mobility, renewable energy storage, and portable electronics has sharply increased global lithium demand, highlighting the environmental and socio economic drawbacks of conventional extraction methods such as hard rock mining and brine evaporation.
Internalized SNCA/α-synuclein fibrils become truncated and resist degradation in neurons while glial cells rapidly degrade SNCA fibrils
ABSTRACT Parkinson disease (PD) and other α-synucleinopathies are characterized by the intracellular aggregates of SNCA/α-synuclein (synuclein, alpha) thought to spread via cell-to-cell transmission. To understand the contributions of various brain cells to the spreading of SNCA pathology, we examined the metabolism of SNCA aggregates in neuronal and glial cells.
The Importance of SEO for Websites
Razaul Karim · Follow 3 min read · -- In today’s digital world, having a strong online presence is crucial for any business. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) plays a vital role in making your website visible to potential customers. Without SEO, your website might remain hidden in the depths of search engine result pages (SERPs), making it difficult for users to find you. This article will explain why SEO is important for websites and how it can help your business grow.

Multiplying the Water Splitting Performance of reduced Graphene Oxide - Platinum Nanoparticle Hybrid by Intercalating Ethylenediamine Polar Spacergroup - Journal of Materials Chemistry C (RSC Publishing)
Multiplying the Water Splitting Performance of reduced Graphene Oxide – Platinum Nanoparticle Hybrid by Intercalating Ethylenediamine Polar Spacergroup We found that the water-splitting performance of platinum-doped rGO (rGO-Pt) can be multiplied significantly by intercalating Ethylenediamine (EDA). The dual existence of proton conductivity (PrC) and electron conductivity (EtC) in the as prepared rGO-Pt-EDA aided such multiplication.
Internalized α-synuclein fibrils become truncated and resist degradation in neurons while glial cells rapidly degrade α-synuclein fibrils.
Abstract Parkinson's disease (PD) and other α-synucleinopathies are characterized by the accumulation of α-synuclein (αS) pathology that can spread via the cell-to-cell transmission of αS aggregates. To better understand how various brain cells contribute to the spreading of αS pathology, we examined the metabolism of αS aggreges or pre-formed fibrils (PFFs) in neuronal and glial cells (microglia, astrocytes, and oligodendrocytes).

The UPR Maintains Proteostasis and the Viability and Function of Hippocampal Neurons in Adult Mice
Abstract : The unfolded protein response (UPR), which comprises three branches: PERK, ATF6α, and IRE1, is a major mechanism for maintaining cellular proteostasis. Many studies show that the UPR is a major player in regulating neuron viability and function in various neurodegenerative diseases; however, its role in neurodegeneration is highly controversial.
