What was your first job as a journalist?

I first started journalism at UMBC, as a staff columnist for the opinions section.

Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

Clark Kent. Idk, something about that guy.

Who do you wish followed you?

NYT opinion columnist Jamelle Bouie. And Donald Glover. They'd love my tweets.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

I created a list of food, medical and social resources for low-income and homeless residents to use during the COVID-19 pandemic.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

On the basketball court. You can't check me.

Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?

The Atlantic.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

I don't only cover Wall Street. The economy is much more than the stock market. It involves every industry and every issue.
