Milifortic R087 (Unboxing and First Impressions)
I haven't bought a watch in a long long time, but I came across this video from Shiny Things: Loved all of the dial variants, but chose the 'Pearl White' variant, purchased here from the official Milifortic AliExpress store page, or you can go through the YouTube video and click his affiliate link once you've watched the video Packaging is standard AliExpress fare, case is solid and the cleaning cloth and spring bar tool are nice touches The included 'genuine leather' strap actually feels...

Vintage late 1950's Zodiac Sea Wolf. My expert Zodiac repair man said it is a 2nd or 3rd generation, so I kinda estimate it in the very late 50's. What's on your wrist today?
Microbrands are better than Rolex in innovation - in my view
#1 · The more I compare microbrands to Rolex, the more I think microbrands are the better choice regarding innovation for watch enthusiasts. With Rolex, you’re paying thousands extra for the name and hype. Meanwhile, microbrands offer comparable or possibly better specs for a fraction of the price. Brands like Ming, Christopher Ward, and Halios have sapphire crystals, high-end finishing, and in-house movements (or heavily modified top-grade Swiss calibers) at a fraction of the cost.

HELLOOOO AND WELCOME! Erebus ORIGIN 38 Sunburst Purple (Unboxing and Impressions)
#1 · I've been wanting a 38-39mm dive watch for a long time now, and I've wanted someone to release a purple automatic dive watch in this size for what seems like forever. Luckily, the latest release of Erebus Watches' ORIGIN 38 managed to nail both of these requirements in one shot. After watching both the launch video by JOMW, as well as Peter Kotsa's review video, there was zero doubt that the 'Sunburst Purple' version was the one I wanted.

Good morning watch friends yesterday I Gifted my 11 year old son a Seiko 7548-7000 from January 1980. I am wearing my Seiko Arnie H558-5009 on a new crocodile leather strap. The 7548-7000 is a quartz movement but not like most this watch was worn by Brian May from Queen for 40 years daily as well as North Korean frog men. The movement is almost all metal.

Hi from down under
Thank you for all the welcome messages. I am happy to be a part of the community. My favorite vintage watches are The Bulova Accutron Spaceview. I am currently loving the Zelos watch range. Recently I purchased a Hammerhead Ti. I really want to get my hands on a Aurora Ti Aventurine Moon phase. I will post up some pics of my small collection in the near future. Thank you all once again🙏

#2 · Mostly for Keith..here’s another view of the newly remodeled open area at my work. It was last done about 20 years ago and had become totally unusable and really beat up. Now we have all sorts of display screens and the video wall where we can do presentations, press conferences etc. The seating areas are great for taking a break or having small meetings.

🏆 What is the best pound-for-pound watch currently available? Who takes the P4P gold? 🏆
Discussion Starter · #1 · a moment ago So, here are my top 5 P4P picks, based on that criteria: 1. (TIED) Sinn 556/Damasko DS30 I was inspired to ask this question, by the guy in the other post that was offered a Rolex Explorer I, but was considering getting a Sinn 556 instead. In this situation, you could argue that the Sinn is pound-for-pound the better watch.
'Tuns Leather' Custom Ostrich Strap - Unboxing and Initial Impressions
I ended up deciding on a custom light brown ostrich strap from Tuns Leather When I bought my Montblanc Star Legacy, I knew it couldn't stay on the bracelet forever. I needed a nice strap that could dress the piece down, but not too much so I was lucky enough to purchase during the Black Friday sale, so I ended up paying $46USD total (shipping included) Put the order in early December, and the strap just arrived today.

Vacheron, Omega, or something cheaper?
So, I have been looking for something with a pink motif. Something pleasing, but classic enough so that I won't be laughed out of my local establishments The Vacheron would be the obvious classical choice, and the Omega looks really nice and punchy... but I may be better off going the cheap and cheerful route. Very kool Which one would you choose?
Reddit vs. Watchuseek: Who is Correct?
Discussion Starter · #1 · a moment ago (Edited) I posted a picture of my Seiko Ginza SPB259 on Reddit r/watches, and it's currently the #1 post on the frontpage of the subreddit right now. Really happy, but something very curious happened at the same time Everyone there loves the dial, but seems to absolutely, really hate the Barton Elite Silicone strap that I currently have it on.
Boutique-Hopping in Sydney, Australia
Discussion Starter · #1 · 23 m ago (Edited) Started off at the Grand Seiko boutique, which was a very nice space and welcoming atmosphere. The staff member who served me was very accommodating, and the most notable. Didn't connect with the SBGN005 quartz GMT as I'd hoped, and the SBGY007 "Omiwatari" (top row, centre) absolutely knocked it out of the park.
Omega, or Invicta?
Discussion Starter · #1 · a moment ago I know, I know, seems like an obvious answer. But, hear me out I'm tossing up between these two models in particular. Both of them look pretty sharp, but it's hard to tell which one has the better build quality. The Invicta is actually the more expensive of the two, believe it or not, but I'm trying not to let that sway me too much So, I thought I'd come tonight all to help me decide. Which one should I get?
556 H-Link Clasp Rattle Solution
I, like most people, am a little bit disappointed at the clasp on the otherwise great 20mm H-Link bracelet. Apart from the inevitable marks that the clasp lock seems to leave on the clasp and bracelet end link, it does rattle at the clasp lock end. It seems to be more noticeable if I am doing anything that involves vibration (hand mixer, massage machine, power sander, etc.) There is a small solution, though.
