I am a licensed social worker currently serving the homeless community in Albuquerque. I have worked in urban and rural New Mexico with adolescents and adults in both outpatient and inpatient settings. I worked for two nonprofit agencies whose funding was suspended as a result of the state’s questionable behavioral health audit. I have colleagues who remain with both agencies and greatly respect their commitment to serve clients despite difficult conditions associated with the audit.
