What was your first job as a journalist?
I was a junior reporter at a weekly newspaper in Manchester, UK. After two years I rose to senior reporter thanks to a very supportive team.

It means accurately presenting the facts of a story with impartiality, retaining a sense of humanity and being accountable.

To make sure the voices of those who are fighting against social injustice are heard, and to keep the public educated and informed.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Make sure you are fully trained on media law, news writing and the workings of a news organisation.
