Rebecca Lewis’s Biography
Rebecca Lewis is a true Las Vegas girl. She was born and raised in Las Vegas and knows just about everything there is to know about the city that she has called home for over 30 years.
Rebecca fell in love with news at a young age and used to watch the morning news with her mother as a child.
Rebecca majored in Journalism/Communications and was an intern at KTNV-TV during her college career. She received education from the College of Southern Nevada and UNLV before ultimately graduating with her Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the University of Phoenix-Arizona.
After college, Rebecca found it hard to obtain employment in the media due to the recession and decided to take matters into her own hands.
Deciding to stray from traditional news, she started her own entertainment website starberryicecream in 2010.
Rebecca's website attracted millions of readers from around the globe and captured the attention of the mainstream media. She's had her articles published on some of the largest online publications in the world, including Huffington Post, Bleacher Report and more.
Rebecca has been seen on numerous red carpets interviewing celebrities and musicians. She's interviewed some of Hollywood's elite at events such as the MTV VMA's, BET Awards and Billboard Music Awards.
Rebecca joined the KTNV-TV team, (ABC affiliate) as a part-time website producer in September 2013. She was promoted to Digital Content Producer in June 2014.
In Jan. 2017, Rebecca became the Digital Executive Producer at KSNV-TV, (NBC affiliate) where she oversees the digital platforms for News3LV, CW Las Vegas and MyLVTV.
When Rebecca is not reading or writing, she enjoys spending time with her family, attending church and listening to music.
