Reema Shah’s Biography
After spending a great deal of time and money exploring various educational websites and apps for children, often to find that the majority were not really what she had in mind for her children, Reema Shah partnered with a friend to establish Foundze. The site is a compilation of short descriptions of hundreds of mobile and web apps organized by type, such as art, science, social studies, etc. Apps are searchable by device platform (Android, iOS, etc.) and download links are provided onsite, as well as a link to a more thorough description of the product and instructions for each app’s use. Reema Shah currently serves as Foundze’s CEO.
Reema Shah earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and her MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She spent several years in the banking industry, working with such firms as Morgan Stanley, Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, and Credit Suisse First Boston, where she served as a vice president and sell-side analyst.
