Abstract Student veterans are a small subgroup on many campuses, often viewed as damaged. For this project, we used photovoice to explore the experiences of six undergraduate student veterans navigating a minority-serving research institution (MSRI) at a University of California campus. We explore student veteran experiences of direct violence in the military, and how these experiences intersect with MSRI and VA cultural and structural violence.
