We previously reported on the Hong Kong Government's plan for public consultation for reforming the registered designs regime under the Registered Designs Ordinance (Cap. 522). On 17 December 2025, the Hong Kong Government launched a three-month public consultation on proposed reforms to the city's registered designs regime ("Consultation").
